A new wetsuit is so warm and toasty. Then as it gets used it becomes old and chilly -- like the one it replaced. That new suit feeling is so wonderful that to get rid of it for the sake of not adjusting with your weight sounds silly. If I bought a new suit and it was not warmer than the old one, I would get mad and wish I had just continued to glue patches on and spent the money on more diving.
