As I said before this swim test proves nothing other than a person can swim.
Another unecessary "standard" of diver harassment set up by the head clone puppet for all clone puppets to follow blindly without question to validity.
This standard goes along the same useless lines of diver harassment "training" as ripping off students masks.
If someone wants to set up a train/certification agency they should get someone who has an educational and diving background to set the standards and develop the program.
Gue/DIR is not a certification agency or a training program. It is marketing program to sell halcyon dive gear.
If it were anything more it would have good people with appropriate training and education to set training standard and curriculum.
Instead what you get with GUE is useless reterick (sp) and standards and curriculum that are set and made on the fly.
My .02 to GUE "instructors" have a good lawyer go over the waivers the "agency" gives you and get a lot of insurance.
MHO to prosprective GUE/DIR divers; if you want to follow something or somebody, follow the mainstream and majority STAY AWAY for equipment marketing programs passing themselves off as certification and training agency's.
