So Skin Diver the Diver Alert Edition has a blurb from Karl Shreeves talking about a what if dive to 160 feet on air for 30 minutes and then options for decompression. Obviously this dude is not a DIR proponent since he proposes Air but later in the article he does mention trimix. Gee and this is from a non DIR proponant (yep i am a great speller too). His main topic is risk managemnt in terms of DCS and he has gotten on board to the use of a 50/50 mix and O2 for the deco stops.
So there you have it a PADI representative saying yif you got trimix use it!
