He'll do 160 on air and dive some totally convoluted rig (he can't decide if he wants to DIR or appear that way sometimes or if he wants the stroke of the year award, just look at those pictures!) PADI always jumps on the bandwagon late just like with nitrox. Maybe in a year or two they'll have a dir speciality. I looked at that Rec Tec manual and had to be picked up off the dive shop floor, they found the most wacked out gear 'tech divers' were wearing and put it in the pictures. How many close pins does old Karl need anyhow, but I bet he's never caught without clean undies
