1. If you got more than a small bit of water in
the exhale hose, dives over, but that's because
something has going radicaly wrong. Even if
it's quite a bit, you could clear it, but it
would by and by come back via the inhale hose,
along with a lot of nasty chemicals. And the
orignal problem is still there, continuing
to flood the loop.

2. Any water in the inhale hose, dives over? Yes,
for the same reason -- it's a symptom of
something gone very wrong. It's quite possible
to clear a bit of water from the intake hose
by rolling, taking it into your mouth, and then
blowing out into the exhale hose (see 1). But
all the scenarios I can think of for water in
the intake hose come down to: something is
really wrong, abort, close DSV, go to open
circuit bailout on the pony.

When in doubt,
bail out.
