I've been so busy defending myself over the short lobster issue that I haven't read some of the other interesting subjects that appear on this BBS..Your comment about a checklist are very good..I was a IFR pilot for many years and you are very correct ..we never fly without a checklist and a flight plan..My wife & I have a computer checklist for all dives and we do Buddy & equipment checks before hitting any water on every dive. As far as Solo Diving goes, I didn't think that was even an option.. I have had 2 (thats TWO) divers die while in my group.. Both young ladies ( 18 & 17??) Both because of BAD BUDDIES..Once you have had to give mouth to mouth to a diver who drowned you will never dive without checking your equipment and BUDDY again..
