Scubafolk,

Being a Vegetarian I have no interest in catching lobster for food. I am a veggie but not a proselytist of this lifestyle and could not care less what others do.. Hunters I am no foe (munch on carnivores!) I am however intrigued by bug hunters and their unending fascination for this branch of the sport of diving. After having listened to all of your enthusiasm, I have a mild interest in catching one or two.

I would like to catch and release a lobster.

My questions, I have a few…
Must I have a license, even when I have no game bag and will release after bringing it up to my mask?
Must I have a gage even when releasing all bugs?
How do I prevent damaging them?
What is the best method of capture?
Can they hurt me?

Gratis,
Jeff
