I had a buddy that has now quit diving because of headaches, fear too I think. He didn't use any air, well practically no air and would have screaming headaches. Could be from CO2 buildup or oxygen deprevation(sp) I don't know. With you not getting the headaches with EAN the higher O2% might be it. But why not breath correctly and normally to begin with. Just a thought don't skip breath but breath slowly and deeply.
I don't want to burst your bubble about disproving the nitrox as a feel good old geezer gas but I like to deal with things realistically and not spread unsubstantiated theories as with they are facts. If this stuff is to you like what spinach is to popeye by all means have at it.
