DIN is better. But if you have a DIN reg, you
need to be able to handle yoke tanks on occasion,
either by being able to convert your reg, or with
an adapter.

DIN valves are available for most any tank. They
are uncommon on AL80s, but do exist.

There are also valves that can go either way.
The are a DIN valve, but constructed so that a
small insert converts them to be a yoke valve.
These would be a good choice on a commercial
dive boat that supplies tanks (the Cypress Sea
does on some of their tanks). I think they are
limited to 3000 PSI.
