Solvents not diluted by the water will most likely float in pockets inside a wreck.
If you're just cruising through with nothing more than your bubbles disturbing things you won't stir the crap up enough to make any mischief.
If you just want something to play with, check with these guys: http://www.gas-chemicaltesters.com/
Be advised that by the time you get a sample to test, you'll have been contaminated.
If it stinks, don't dive in it.
