I also see lots of horn sharks as well as leapords at Big Rock. Never any morays though. I think that certain times of year batrays and guitarfish go there to breed.
My son and I went out last night a few miles north of there and had a real good dive. I saw a very very large sheepshead. At first I only caught a gimpse of his big black head and large black tail swim through the kelp and I thought it was a sea bass. When I dove down and followed I got a good look at the whole fish. He was beautiful!! I got within about 10 feet of him before he swam off. Wow that was nice. My son ended up with 4 legal bugs. I saw a 4 pounder but he wasn't in the mood to come out of his hole. I was also impressed at the monster sea anenimies that I ran into. They were the size of a basket ball, a pretty turquoise grren. tommy
