I have seen them (the spark plugs, not the Barbie dolls) used in place of lead weights, by fishermen. I laughed when I saw it, but maybe this practice is more common that I thought. What gets me is all of the golf balls...underwater hockey, now underwater golf????? I guess that eliminates the water hazard problem, but then again you never get out of the sand trap, do you?
