That large male sheepshead are in the prime of their breeding age does nothing to address the argument that if one is killed by a predator, another will take it's place from another area. There could conceivably be a surfeit of prime males whereby a dozen are ready to take the place for every one that dies.

Also, Marta, do these living breathing experts publish in the peer reviewed literature or do they just consult the same available literature in the same journals that would be availiable in the library of any good research university?
