and the tentacles were in the 5 to 7 foot range. It was like other jellies, soft and squishy but in a firm sort of way. I've gently pushed them out of the way before. This one kept drifting right into my face, and with the 24mm lens and the dome port on, i had to get to within a foot and a half or so to get the pix.
