Hey Eric, I sell this stuff for a living (well in the last 10 years it's been more of a hobby). I also dove the different plate and wing combos . Looking at todays systems I think I would buy a Halcyon plate and wing unit (they have a very comfortable plates, and some well thought out wing and weight systems, both for single tanks and doubles).
Also I would go with a simple webbing harness system (one piece of webbing with a crouch strap, no plastic buckles, or chest straps, the plastic buckles are failure points and I have seen them fail).
What's wrong with OMS and Diverite? They have not kept up, there gear is almost 10 years behind the times.

Right now it's Halcyon.
