OMS- why is it so bad?

In response to my post about OMS backplates there were a few deragatory remarks concerning the product with no explanations as to why it "belongs in the trash"?
Those who posted those remarks please explain what is wrong with them and why "your brand" is better.
I'm new to backplates and don't understand. Please help me out.

Remember, I'm just a stupid Northern Californian and don't know what's "cool" down in LA.
We are very limited on our resources up here.
