I never said OMS gear killed anyone or would if you wore it. I said it was poorly designed and that some of those designs were potentially dangerous. I never said Halcyon gear could compensate for poor skills or attitude. I didn't say them because I don't believe them. Those are cheap rhetorical stunts I'll leave to others.

Would Charlie McGurr have kicked himself to death had he not been grossly overweighted? Who knows? Would he have not been so grossly overweighted had he not been wearing OMS steel stages and a 28 lbs weight belt. Probably.

Sure, mind set probably had more to do with deaths on the Doria than any piece of equipment or brand. I've never suggested otherwise.
