Southern Cal is one of the major birth places for scuba. It reminds me of when entrepreneur Jacques Yves Cousteau shipped a few of his new Aqua Lung self contained underwater breathing apparatuses there with instructions never to hold your breath while breathing on it.
Its no surprise that PADI is headquartered there, and that NAUI used to be.
Why are so many divers always fighting over PADI? Why not just leave PADI alone?
