Eric, look on Ken list to see who gave and who cared.
I gave $500 to the pledge, and closed my business that day to Divemaster one of the boats (I didn't dive I just Divemastered, I had a cold and had a working dive that weekend) I also paid for my spot on the boat.
The boat I was on did over $7100 in spaces sold and raffle tickets.
I think that we did pretty good (I also think that all the people now helped and gave did pretty good).
But what we did or didn't do is not the question.
The question is what did the "leader" in our industry do. And the answer is NOTHING.
Eric I'm surprized that there is not more outrage in our community about this.
Here we have the two biggest companies (one retail and one instructional)both based in SoCal and they did almost nothing for this event.
Now you know.
