Great Dive Trips at Bargain Prices with the Sea Divers

I'm looking for some advice regarding low-volume masks to replace my Scubapro Trivent. The SP is a great mask in so far as it almost never leaks, but by any standard, it's a bucket.

However all the low-volume masks I've tried so far have leaked pretty badly. Typically, water starts filling the nose pocket and gradually leaks into the mask itself.

I've been able to find some masks that seal in a pool without a reg in my mouth, but as soon as I bite on a mouthpiece they start to leak. (I presume the mouthpiece opens up some gaps around my nose. I've tried various mouthpieces and they don't seem to help.)

Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice for trying on masks in a store? (All of them passed the sniff-and-hold test.)

So far, I have tried: SP Frameless, Oceanic Shadow, Mares Target, Cressi-Sub Pinoccio, Seavision Ultra and a second Seavision, Deep See generic and a couple of others.

Thanks,

Jon
