Just as another thought, what about the area around old marineland? It is a very special place for all kinds of marine life that is native to but uncommon in Southern California. I understand that there is new development being considered where marineland used to stand. What a feather in their cap it would be to have the surrounding waters be a marine perserve. Maybe they would even find a place for a dive shop (instead of a fishing pier) in their development plans.
