After one of my trips offshore, i often go back to the marina for a fish watching stroll in the afternoon.
I am a fish-watcher, can't get enough of that~ I had been visiting a nesting garabaldi for a couple of months until it moved off recently....
Since your wife has experience on sailing vessels, perhaps a fast boat would be appealing to her sometime in the future. (could happen*)
Anyway, i bet you and your boy had a blast looking at all of the interesting things in the bay! There is so much to see, if one takes the time to look....very glad you do!
