What I mean is that setting up a reserve or "marine park" doesn't solve problems. Take Casino Point for example, hasn't solved the eco-system problem of Catalina. Casino Point is a tourist attraction where the natural bahavior patterns of the animals is altered. Do we need more of these? My opinion is no. I enjoy diving more out in the wild and see the ocean in it's natural state. California has hundreds of miles of coastline and thousands of square miles of open ocean water that need management and setting up a small reserve is not addressing the overall situation. YMMV
