You can calculate with either the volume or the mass, but it's a hell of a lot easier to calculate the mass. You can even guessimate so long as it's within 10%.

How would you calculate total volume, Chris, without using the mass figure? Your 2 pages of pdf make it sooo much more difficult than it needs to be. Mass/density = constant.
