I agree with you. This board is Doing Just Fine.
I also agree with you that it's too bad that a lot of good stuff was lost from
this board, but it wasn't Chris or I that picked the fight that led
to the present state of things. If someone is not comfortable with the
requirements of a board that is trying to be family friendly, then
there has to be another board and there is.
I view the other board. It is often interesting. I just choose to post
there only rarely for obvious reasons.
Say what you want, I still believe that everything that happened was
because of one strong, nasty personality. I suspect that since there
are no rules there, some people do not feel compelled to challenge
them.
Still, that board is not allowed by cyber nannies, which is an objective of
Chris'.
Your comment about your email tells it all. You are a known and respected
member of this community. Regardless of if I may not always approve of wh
at you say, I have mentioned that I think you are at least thoughtful. Still,
your comment about email addresses show the defensiveness (that has become
the norm here) brought to this board by past attacks here.
