Eins, the point is, that most of the store personnel know more, have seen more, and have done more then all the SC staff “professionals “ put together. Most of SC” professional staff “only get 18 hours a week, so who staffs the dive center then (is the kid from hardware’s).
The reason our industry is the way it is, is because of SC, DD, and the net. They have muddied the waters, to the point where real professionals can’t make a living.
Diving professionals are a dying breed. I’m sorry to say that, very soon all you will have left is the "part-time professional's" (like you have at SC).
And you deserve it.
