Yes, but I doubt this was a molt. Not unless molting includs leaving behind your eyes, intestines etc. The white meat was pretty well gone, but the caripace was intact and still occupied towards the front by organic matter and there was just a hint of white tail meat here and there in the water. If it was a molt, this guy is going to be mighty big. The carpice was approximatly 5 inches in diamater.
