I work in fisheries in Alaska. Most bottom fish including Halibut have worms. Nothing uncommon. If you are seeing massive infestation of them, I would be concerned, but you will see them throughout the flesh and stomach. You can soak the meat in cold fresh water for 15 min. and this sometime will help remove some of them but not all. Once you cook the meat you will have a hard times seeing.
