That statement is a double edge sword if I ever saw one. Photographers have an impact. All of which has a negative effect on the wildlife. Dropping down beneath the surface scatters most of the fast swimming fish or you may chase after your prey thus further altering and upsetting the underwater ambience. The ones that rely on camouflage mostly remain as you flash the poor thing into permanent blindness. ;-)
