Came across a Lobster Bull Ring this past weekend off Malibu. They were all gathered together in the sand with their tails toward the middle and their feelers all pointing outward. They all stayed together until we tried to grab one and then they all shot off into different directions. There appeared to be a lot of them, but because of the poor visability, we were only able to subdue 18 of them between three divers. Has anyone else seen this before? Is it common? What is the largest group anyone has ever seen?
Please no environmentalist postings; The commercial Lobster trappers catch TONS of Lobsters every year and ship most of them overseas!
