Marta has apparently only experienced Casino Point on weekends. If you go during the week, there aren't too many people there. Leaving your stuff sitting around is not a good idea. The local urchins like to hang around and snag what they can. I had a mask stolen there.

When I go, I'll make my Pelican case into a free locker, padlocking it and chaining it to the garbage can post. Otherwise, bring quarters.

P.S. The CDS fill station is not open during the week after Labor Day. For weekday fills, you must haul your tanks back to one of the shops in town, either CDS or ScubaLuv. They rent pushcarts ($10) to make that job easier, but it's still a pain in the ass. You can get a "free" push cart from Vons, complimentary use with any purchase. But the best bet is to find a hotel or condo that comes with a golf cart.
