I dived Redondo Canyon last night. The surf was up, about 3-4 feet but the shore break is so close there that is was no trouble entering or exiting. The visibility was down to five feet due to the swells, but I found between 40 to 50 mating squid between 60-75 feet. Hopefully the ocean will calm down in time for the next full moon for a spectular squid show. The sea birds were already excited about it. They were everywhere last night, including a cormorant that scared the crap out of me at twenty feet!
