I agree with Chuck, if you have to ask how to get ther, you have no business going there.

I was going to go there today, but decided on the island instead.

If you insist on going, you do have a very good weather window. There is a red bell buoy out there (2CB). The plane is a few hundred yards west of it. Be careful and try not to get into water shallower than 40ft. I have seen sneaker swells come through there and heap up big-time.

One more consideration is the Navy closures of that area. Today they are working north/west of the bank. You may see the schedule here: scisland.org/

On one trip a few years ago, i came up for a breath and there was a Navy hilo hovering directly above, a guy vigorously signaling me to leave the area! (darn)
