I usually follow the GI3 version. Sometimes I tend to revert back to the original Bill Main version. When diving local, I use the SoCal version that includes the "don't ask, don't tell" clause about certain diving practices. When I'm fire diving, I have to ask "What would George Irvine or Jarrod Jablonski do if they were fire diving" and I go from there. It can get real complicated.
All joking aside, I do strive to avoid being a hose monster, swimming Christmas Tree, roto-tiller, knee sitter, weightbelt strongman contestant, etc. See, I didn't mention stroke anywhere in there! Ooops...
