This is what happens every time the government tries to protect the fish stocks from overfishing...

Fishermen sue the government....

Ever wonder what happens when they are successful in thwarting the government's effort to protect the fish stocks?

Overfishing depletes the fishery...

Guess who they sue when there are no more fish to catch?

They sue the government again...

For failing to properly 'manage' the fish stocks....

The commercial fishing industry has managed to route itself into a perpetual welfare industry, with taxpayers money subsidising the bust of overfishing. (paying the fishermen who caused the depletion)

Sort of like sueing for the right to cut all the trees in the forest, then when all the trees are gone, sueing because the forest wasn't managed properly. Never mind that you already sold the wood and profited from it.

I find it absolutely repugnant that United Anglers is part of this.
