How do you like volunteering at the AOP?

I've been interested in voluteering at the AOP for some time now. I was wondering if anyone who volunterers there would tell me how they like it.

Is it fun? Do you enjoy it? How often do you go? What is involved.

I've been to their web site and have downloaded the apps and read the info material. I don't have my Rescue Cert. and was planning on getting one just to be albe to volunteer. But I also would like to take the LA County Advanced Cert. and since this costs some bucks I may delay the rescue divers course.

Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
