Chris asked: "Where did you stay?"

For this trip, we stayed at Buddy Dive and were very happy with them on all fronts. You're pretty much in the middle of Bonaire, so it's equi-distant to go to the northern or southern sites, and Klein Bonaire is just across the channel.

One nice thing with Buddy's (and some other hotels, too) is that you can set your deal up to inlcude a car that you pick up at the hotel (they pick you up at the airport). The cars are frequently clunkers (although there are some nice 2-seater Jeeps), but they work. And for us (we had a group of 5) we actually got a van, so we had room for all the divers plus all the gear.

We used to stay at Sand Dollar (literally adjacent to Buddy Dive) but the place lost their pier during Hurricane Lenny, moved the dive operation off-site (they may now be running out of an adjacent property), and just isn't what it used to be. Too bad.
