As a "survivor" of the Iron Eagle vs the infamous Gale last year, I'm all for conservative calls by the captain. I was also on the Sea Diver trip that was called off. I didn't hear anyone complaining much.
We have had a streak of really crummy weather, it won't last forever. I'm glad that I have no experiences on the Great Escape to remember like the one I had on the Lead Buzzard, because you never forget the bad experiences. Captain Tim has a great boat and a great reputation because he generally makes great calls.
