I got a call today, around 18:30 telling me that the "Peace" had run aground. For the next several hours I tried to find out if this true or not. IT IS NOT TRUE!! Apparently, a dive manufacture, (Eric will find out)had spread this rumor, for what reasons, who knows?
The "Peace" ran into some very nasty weather a few weeks ago, the same weekend that I canceled and caught hell for that. Eric was already here at Catalina when the storm front came in. He had no choice but to go home. Several divers on that trip blame Eric for the weather, and how could he do that. Again this is the same weekend that I turner back with my charter group. I was ridiculed by the group, and by Chris Grossman, this webmaster, and my webmaster, for now.
The only regret I have to this is, I let a bunch of computer nerd, want-a-captains, dictate to me how to run my boat. This will not happen again. It is very easy to sit in front of a computer, and look at the swell models, and decide what is going on.
