My mission for this summer is to photograph at least one sunfish/Mola Mola. I've been told there are a few at White's Point/Twin Palms state park- NE of the diver entrance area (around the "horseshoe rock"- can only enter by swimming 500 yards or so or by boat). Also off of Cabrillo beach area (facing Catalina)- but vis there is so bad; I may have bumped into one and not known it.
I have seen them from a distance in Bahamas a few years ago, but did not know what it was then- and no photos then.
Please advise if any divers have seem them RECENTLY and as specific a location and conditions, time of day/night.
