I was out there a few weeks ago and had to stay in the skiff because of the current. I swam at the boilers on the way out and the vis was the best i found that weekend from the Cortes Bank up to Begg Rock.
Week before last i spent Friday and Saturday nights at Nic and the vis was very bad there also. It is a tough go swimming in the kelp when you can't see the bottom on the way down or an opening in the canopy on the way up~
I had some stuff to do around the house last w/e or i would have definately been somewhere as the weather was great, vis and current notwithstanding.
