There was really no need for the Divemaster to get wet. The Diver should have rescued herself. She should have turned her air on (oh.. she couldn’t reach it, or didn’t know how). She should have put her snorkel in her mouth (oh.. she didn’t have one, a snorkel is not DIR). She should have dropped her weight belt (oh… she didn’t have any weight she could drop). The buddy team should have checked each others air and gear on the boat before they jumped in (oh.. that’s not being a macho diver).
It’s funny how we just keep on repeating the same old BS mistakes, no one ever learns, we just keep on trying to kill ourselves.
