I was out at San Clemente Island and they are already putting out lobster traps by the hundreds. They must of had 2000 traps on the front side of San Ctemente. We didn't get around to the backside but I am sure its loaded too. Has ther season started?
My friend told me the trappers don't have limits. They can have as many traps as they want. And no limit on the amount of bugs they take. Only size limits like us. He said most guys run 300 to 500 traps.
Is this true?
P.S. be carefull of the L.A.breakwater jetty, hundreds of traps down both sides.
