As far as I know, Chris may have changed his editing policy some. At this point, I only pay
attention to plain spam or something blatantly obscene.
I am a little surprised that you would notice that things that "should have been yanked" when
all the wretching used to be over what was yanked. Well, luckily that problem left for the
other board. Now there's an obscenity. I'm glad that Chris' policy allowed the editing out of
some of the more rabid posts.
You support free speech. Does that include hate speach? Cuz that's what it was.
Would you mind if I said "I told you so". We seem to be seeing so clearly now part of what
Chris made his board to avoid.
By the way, open water texts don't tell a lot of things that my 33 plus years of diving in
nasty spots has taught me. I've read more dive magazines and books than most divers have seen.
I have accomplished at least 6 solo rescues and using what I was taught in my very first dive
class, I have repeatedly been able to calm a person who was quickly progressing to panic.
That's plenty good enough for me.
Enjoy the diving, seahunt
