I like your thinking. If we could get everyone who loves, enjoys, or otherwise values the ocean to buy a fishing license, we could do amazing things.
Just for those that worry about where those fishing dollars go, NONE of it goes to the general fund. Every penny is deposited in our Preservation Fund, which we guard religously. The monies from fishing licenses go to enforcement, research, monitoring, public outreach, education, management, etc.
Please help us save our ocean, buy a fishing license.
