Elaine sent this photo of the underside of a starfish she found laying on it's back taken with Kodachrome 25, a discontinued film. She says the scan does not do the photo justice since the detail in the K25 slide is better than any other film she has used. Unfortunatly the processing for Kodachrome is disappearing as well. This then is perhaps a last gasp from a great, but now dead technology. This is the way all film technology is headed.
It is sad because K25 was one of my favorite films.
