Although I didn't see any of the actual TV clips, you'll notice the stuff on these webistes is word-for-word the same (with some minor edits.)
If you look closely, what you'll see is that the piece written by the OC Register reporter was picked up and transmitted by the Associated Press, and every other link is nothing more than the AP story, which is really the Register story in it's entirety.
