It cost billions of dollars. I wonder why we don’t devote that kind of budget and brain trust toward reversing the effects of over fishing and pollution which have depleted sea life in the oceans down to 10% of their normal levels. Surely designing zero by-catch nets for inner space cannot be as difficult as designing an outer space expedition craft capable of reaching Saturn.
