My buddy Marc got zapped last week by an electric ray. He said it was a small one hiding in the sand, so naturally he decided to touch it to make it swim.
The ray turned around and swam right into Marc's direction, making contact with his chin. He not only got a lesson in touching marine life, but a treat as well. He got to see a fireworks show underwater. When the ray zapped him, it emitted some gray lightning bolts that went around Marc's face. I'm diving with him tomorrow and taking my camera in case he decides to be as entertaining again.
