Yea, but then when it hits the fan, they will blame the diver for being left behind!

If memory serves me right they said everything from it was an insurance scam to a suicide pact.

In our local waters, the recent events of "Drifting Dan" showed that. So many diver were afraid of repurcussions to a dive boat they enjoy that they twisted llike pretzels to make it Dan's fault that he was missed on return and logged into the next dive in abstentia.

I do not give a crap how experienced a person is, they have a right to be counted before the boat departs. The couple in Australia shodul never have been left, and neither should have Dan.

Any effort to say that it is the divers' fault seems like a bunch of crap to me. And by the way Frank, I am not accusing you of this, it is just where I started typing!
